Alison graduated from the University of Toronto Faculty of Information Studies in 2003. Her passion is linking children and youth to the world of books. Her work concentrates in engaging with schools and non-profits that support families in the Oshawa area. Alison was honoured to win the OPLA Children's or Youth Services Librarian of the Year Award in 2019. She lives in Oshawa and can usually be found with a book in hand while cheering for the Toronto Blue Jays.
